Folks often ask us, "Since you're 'Mainely' Coffee what else do you sell?". It's a fair question and let's face it, most companies with Mainely in the name only sell one line or type of product so the pun doesn't really work. That's not how we roll. We embrace the pun-life which is why in addition to roasting coffee we also offer a line of teas...made from coffee fruit, also known as 'cascara'.

Yup, you read that right. We make tea from coffee. It turns out that tea made from the fruit of the coffee plant (traditionally called qishr or kisher) actually predates roasting coffee cherry pits, grinding them and steeping them in water to make coffee.

The tea is rich in flavor and has a decadently smooth body. It can also be steeped again for a lighter, more delicately flavored tea with a body more reminiscent of an herbal tea.

We try to use organic ingredients and, whenever possible, ingredients grown here in Maine.

Our line of caffeine-free teas don't use cascara but are still delicious.
